The engineering work

Building the participant experience and the reporting behind it.

Ritualize combines a participant-facing wellbeing product with reporting for the organisations running a programme. Kitek's work spans the web and mobile applications, customer reports and continuing development of the underlying platform. The two audiences need different views: people completing activities and customers reviewing programme engagement.

Web and mobile application development

Kitek developed applications for the Ritualize community around goals, rituals, challenges and other wellbeing activities. Gamification forms part of the participant experience, while the web and mobile journeys connect to the same broader product.

Customer engagement and assessment reports

Reporting work covers programme engagement, assessments, BioAge information, ritual participation and leaderboards. It includes refining the calculation rules and report views, so the information presented follows the activity and assessment definitions used by the programme.

Printable reports and certificates

Kitek extended report and certificate exports, including print layouts and page handling. This makes reporting usable beyond the interactive application when a customer needs a document to review, retain or share.

Mobile activity tracking and notifications

Continuing mobile engineering includes activity tracking, Android step counting and notification delivery. These are practical links between the app, device capabilities and the programme's day-to-day participant experience.

Modernising the Ruby on Rails application

Kitek upgraded the Ruby runtime, Rails framework and application dependencies, adapting existing APIs and administrative workflows as part of that work. Modernisation was carried out around an established web and mobile product, alongside continued feature and reporting development.
